CalCPA’s Elevate: Women’s Leadership Forum (May 1–2 in Newport Beach).

The California Society of CPAs (CalCPA) and The Alliance of Black Women Accountants (ABWA) have joined into a collaboration to promote Women’s Leadership via Scholarships.

Both organizations are seeking firms wishing to sponsor 10 candidates to fund the cost of their attendance to CalCPA’s 2-day Elevate: Women’s Leadership Forum being held at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, CA. Each scholarship is $1500 that will cover the cost of event registration, hotel accommodations, and stipends for travel and meals.

The candidates shall be students actively pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance OR an emerging professional in the Account / Finance field AND must be an ABWA Member in order to apply.
